Melissa Scott is a freelance make-up artist based in the North-West of England. Professionally trained over four years, her experience includes film and television, special effects makeup, theater, photographic and bridal. Before working together on this project I had designed her beauty blog that was cute, girly and pretty. This time, however, she wanted something simple, classic and professional for her makeup brand. After many days of working together on the ideas we finally created a minimal, sleek and classic brand identity. Her fun and friendly nature made the project a breeze.
Ana. What a true talent.
I am one of those awkward clients, you know, the one that wants a design but has no idea where to begin or how to convey the ideas they have. Ana asked me to come up with a “mood board”, something I am very use to doing in my line of work but when it came to my own blogger, I had no idea where to start. I ended up sending four items – 2 photos of fonts, a Youtube video of a girl whose style I love and very randomly – a photo of a dining room!
Within a few days, the draft was in my inbox, it was one of those “hold your breath” moments, I opened it and oh. my. It was love. My design was perfect. It was beautiful. Professional. And above all, it was me. All in a blogger layout. Not only did Ana manage to incorporate ideas from my four images, it was obvious she took notice of the slightest detail I wrote of when I first applied for my layout.
I just cannot recommend Peaches and Cream Designs enough. I am very proud to display her work on my page! ♡ – Melissa Scott, melissascottmakeup.com
